Sarah Hannaway

Hi there I am Sarah, the owner of hut yoga.  Welcome!

The hut opened its doors in April 2019 and i’ve loved every minute of it.  I am very blessed I get to do what I love and provide a space for people to practice yoga.

I believe in the power of yoga, the power the practise has to transform your life, your body, your stress and your challenges into what you need to grow as a person. 

Yoga will not just challenge you, it will help you grow through what ever it is life is calling to your attention and it can also provide a space for you to ground and find inner peace.

I believe that being free to love, laugh, share moments and to evolve are key components of a life well lived, and most of all I believe that community flourishes from gatherings of like minded people.

Donna McLaughlin

If you haven’t tried one of Donnas classes yet, I can promise you, you are in for a treat.  Donnas energy is inspiring and she creates a wonderful space for you to explore your practise.  Whether you need to challenge yourself in a hot class or take a more gentle option you can be assured that Donna will lead you beautifully.  She loves to have fun in her classes too so expect some fun along the way.

Donnas favourite styles of yoga to practise herself are Forrest and Yin.  She endeavours to continue to add to her training to provide ongoing creativity in her classes.

Ashley 3

Ashley Aitken

Ashley is a qualified midwife, practising doula and a pregnancy yoga teacher.  She runs our ongoing  Thursday evening pre-natal yoga class.  Ashley is a wonderful addition to the hut and she provides a safe space for all the lovely ‘mums to be’ to learn all the gifts yoga has to offer when they are going through one of the biggest experiences of their lives.

Ashley is warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable in her field. You are in the safest hands with her as you navigate your way through this wonderful time in your life.

Claire 2

Claire Neilson

Claire is a reiki practisioner and also teaches Yin and Vinyasa yoga, she is dedicated to helping others achieve peace and ease in this busy world. On her own healing journey she found that yoga and reiki made a huge impact on her own well-being. 

She endeavours to help others to integrate these into their own healing journey.

Claire also offers Indian head massage and Ear hopi candle treatment.


Ria Nisar

Ria is  Thai Yoga massage practitioner.  Thai yoga massage complements her exisiting yoga practice, it has helped Ria manage her own menopausal symptoms.  It is great for stretching and mobilising your body as well as restoring the movement of energy around your body removing stagnation and promoting homeostatsis.  Its unique in the fact that both giver and receiver benefit from the massage, it also enhances your physical awareness of your body, allowing you to grow your existing yoga practice. Ria is so passionate about sharing this treatment with you all here at the hut.  It is a wonderful experience, your body will thank you.
